Stamps and Media Mail: at most one price increase per fiscal year through 2030
A Postal Regulatory Commission rule (Order No. 9426) bars USPS from raising market-dominant prices more than once per fiscal year (Oct. 1 to Sept. 30) from March 1, 2026 through Sept. 30, 2030. Price cuts and de minimis increases are exempt. Market-dominant products include First-Class Mail stamps and Package Services, the class that contains Media Mail.
