Mercari, Poshmark and TikTok Shop: read from their own fee pages on Oct 19, 2026. eBay and Amazon: per our saved copies of their fee pages from Oct 14, 2026 (we don't fetch those sites). Depop, Whatnot and Etsy: as last read on Oct 14, 2026; their help pages now block automated readers, so these rates wait for a check by hand.

What's on the sheet

1. Fees on a $10, $25 and $50 sale, all 8 platforms

On a $10 sale, fees run from $0.60 on TikTok Shop to $3.30 on Amazon media. On a $50 sale they run from $2.10 on Depop to $10.00 on Poshmark. Three of the sheet's 9 rows:

Platform fees only, US seller, no shipping charged, no sales tax. The sheet also lists Depop, TikTok Shop, Etsy, Whatnot, eBay media and Amazon media. Computed with the same code as the fee calculators.

2. Media Mail, 1 to 10 lb

3. Ground Advantage commercial, up to 5 lb

To Zones 1, 5 and 8, labeled as holiday prices. A 1 lb book costs $4.39 by Media Mail and $8.01 by Ground Advantage to Zone 1 (holiday price, until Jan 17, 2027), a difference of $3.62.

4. The Forever stamp

82 cents for a 1 oz letter, plus the 2, 3 and 3.5 oz stamped-letter prices and USPS's $0.49 surcharge for nonmachinable letters (square, rigid or lumpy ones, for example). More letter and postcard prices: USPS stamp prices. Whether it goes up in January: USPS 2027 price change.

5. Recent and upcoming changes

How the numbers are worked out

The fee table uses the same assumptions as the Reseller Cost Index on our home page: platform fees only, a US seller, the item price alone, no shipping charged and no sales tax. eBay includes its per-order fee, Etsy its $0.20 listing fee, Depop, Whatnot and Etsy their payment processing, and Amazon its $1.80 media closing fee. Whatnot is the standard tier and TikTok Shop is most categories. Real fees run higher when the buyer pays you for shipping (every platform here but Poshmark takes a share of it) or pays sales tax (eBay's percentage and the payment processing on Depop, Whatnot and Etsy include it): the where-to-sell calculator and eBay fees on sales tax show how much.

Postage comes from USPS Notice 123, the official price list on USPS's Postal Explorer site. Fees come from each platform's own US fee page; for eBay and Amazon, from our saved copies of those pages dated Oct 14, 2026. Fees were last verified on Oct 14, 2026 and USPS prices on Oct 19, 2026.
