TikTok Shop: 4% LIVE auction referral fee for new auction sellers until Dec 31
From October 1 to December 31, 2026 (Pacific time), eligible new US auction sellers pay a 4% referral fee instead of the standard 6% on Seller LIVE Auction orders with a $1 starting bid. For US-based sellers, eligible categories include Fashion, Electronics, Books and Beauty, but not Collectibles or Luxury Resale. Larger existing auction sellers ($65K or more in LIVE sales in the last 30 days, with recent auction sales and a Shop Performance Score of 3.5+) get 3% on high-value auction orders in seven categories. Regular LIVE and listing sales stay at the standard rate.

New auction seller, $1-start auction order: 4% instead of 6% of the sale price. The fee base also includes shipping the buyer pays, so with $5 buyer shipping the seller keeps $0.30, $0.60 and $1.10 more. There's no TikTok function in fees.js yet, so this was computed with r2() from fees.js.
