eBay now owns Depop; Depop says no fee changes are planned
On Feb 18, 2026, eBay agreed to buy Depop from Etsy for about $1.2 billion in cash, subject to adjustments, and it completed the purchase on July 30, 2026. Depop keeps its own brand and app, and accounts won't be merged with eBay. Depop's help center says no changes to fees or payments are planned at this time. eBay says it plans to bring its shipping, personalization and other capabilities to Depop over time.
