Poshmark sales report for taxes: how to download it and what it shows

On the web, Poshmark's Sales Report is under your profile picture > Order Activity > Sales Report; in the app it's Me tab > Seller Tools > Sales Report (under Insights), according to Poshmark's help page How to download a record of my sales (checked ). You pick any date range and Poshmark emails you a link to a CSV file that lists "orders marked received within the chosen time frame." It shows each listing's Order Price and Net Earnings, any Seller Shipping Discount and Texas Seller Fee Tax, and the sales tax Poshmark collected and remitted. Poshmark's description doesn't list a separate column for its own fee, for shipping labels or for refunds. The cost of what you sold is never in it, so "net" here means net of Poshmark's charges, not your taxable profit.

What's in the report

Poshmark says the report provides "some of the following information," so your file may have more columns than the ones it describes. The ones it describes:

Columns described on Poshmark's help page What is on My Sales Report?, in our words (checked Oct 14, 2026). The Texas Seller Fee Tax applies from Oct 1, 2025 (Poshmark).
ColumnWhat Poshmark says it shows
Bundle OrderY if the listing sold as part of a bundle, N if it sold on its own. Each listing in a bundle gets its own row, and rows from one bundle share the same Order ID.
Offer OrderY if the sale went through an offer, N if the buyer used Buy Now.
Order PriceThe listing's final sale price, whether it sold alone or in a bundle.
Seller Shipping DiscountThe amount taken from your earnings for a shipping discount you offered on the order.
Net EarningsWhat you received as redeemable earnings from the sale of that listing.
Texas Seller Fee TaxTax taken from your earnings on sales by sellers shipping from Texas addresses.

Poshmark's sales tax page adds that the report has "your buyer's delivery state and sales tax collected and remitted for their order"; it doesn't give those columns' names. Poshmark collects and remits sales tax for you where it applies, and says: "Sales tax collection is not deducted from your seller earnings, but included in the buyer's order total." (What does sales tax mean for sellers?).

Does Poshmark send a 1099-K?

Yes, to sellers who reach a threshold. Poshmark's help page How do I download my Form 1099-K? says that for the 2025 tax year it is required to provide a Form 1099-K to any seller with "$20,000 or more in gross sales and 200 transactions" on Poshmark in the calendar year, and that it shares a copy with the IRS and the seller's state tax authority where that applies. Sellers who meet their own state's threshold also get one. Poshmark lists these state thresholds for 2025:

State thresholds as listed by Poshmark for the 2025 tax year (Poshmark, checked Oct 14, 2026). States change their rules; check your own state's tax agency.
StatePoshmark sends a 1099-K at
Arkansas (AR)$2,500+ gross sales
New Jersey (NJ)$1,000+ gross sales
Illinois (IL)$1,000+ gross sales and 4 transactions
DC, Massachusetts, Maryland, Mississippi, Virginia, Vermont$600+ gross sales
  • What the form counts: Poshmark says the 1099-K only includes income "as calculated by gross sales (including fees, refunds, and cancelled orders)." Its explainer adds that gross sales are what buyers paid before expenses such as cancellations, refunds and Poshmark's commission are taken off (Poshmark). So the form's total isn't expected to equal your Net Earnings.
  • Getting it: Poshmark mails the form unless you turn on electronic delivery under Manage Taxpayer Information (web: profile picture > Account Settings; app: Me tab > Seller Tools, under Taxes). The downloadable copy is on the web or mobile web only: profile picture > Account Settings > Tax Documents.
  • No form? Poshmark sends one to sellers who meet the IRS or their state's threshold "and pass verification." If you don't get one, it recommends downloading your Sales Report and talking to a professional tax advisor (Poshmark).

The federal rule: the IRS says a payment app or online marketplace must send a 1099-K when your payments for goods or services total over $20,000 in more than 200 transactions, and that it "may send you a Form 1099-K with lower amounts and/or transactions" (IRS: Understanding your Form 1099-K, reviewed ). Some states set lower thresholds, as Poshmark's list shows. And the IRS is clear that the form isn't what makes sales count: "Whether or not you receive a Form 1099-K, you must still report any income on your tax return." More on the rule: 1099-K for resellers.

Turn the report into numbers

Open the CSV in a spreadsheet and total the columns below. Order Price and Net Earnings are column names from Poshmark's help page; where Poshmark doesn't document a column, the table says so and describes the number in general terms.

Which documented columns to total in a Poshmark Sales Report. Column descriptions from Poshmark's help pages, checked Oct 14, 2026. The totals are records, not a tax calculation.
You wantWhat to total
Gross salesThe Order Price column. A bundle is split into one row per listing, so add up every row.
What reached your earningsThe Net Earnings column.
Poshmark's feeNot a column in Poshmark's description. Order Price minus Net Earnings is everything taken off first: Poshmark's fee ($2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% from $15 up; fee calculator), any Seller Shipping Discount, any Texas Seller Fee Tax, and any other charge taken from earnings. Subtract the two documented columns to see the rest.
Shipping labelsNo label column is documented. Under Poshmark's fee policy the buyer pays for the prepaid label; a shipping discount you offer shows in Seller Shipping Discount. Some shipping charges come out of earnings: Poshmark says sellers pay USPS's $50 hazmat fee on a flagged package from Oct 19, 2026 (Poshmark), and the label upgrade cost on a package over 5 lb shipped without one from Oct 26, 2026 (Poshmark; see the Poshmark change log). Poshmark's report page doesn't say which column shows them.
Refunds and cancellationsNo refund column is documented. The report lists orders marked received in your date range, while Poshmark's 1099-K counts gross sales including refunds and cancelled orders, so the two totals can differ.
Sales taxCollected and remitted by Poshmark, not taken from your earnings. The report shows the tax collected and remitted per order.
Cost of goodsNever in the report. That comes from your own purchase records.

Keep the CSV, your 1099-K if you get one, and your own records of what you paid for inventory and supplies together. Which of these numbers go on which form is a question for a tax professional. The IRS's recordkeeping page covers what records a small business keeps.

Common questions

Where is the Poshmark sales report?

On the web: your profile picture (top right) > Order Activity > Sales Report in the left-side menu. In the app: the Me tab > Seller Tools > Sales Report under Insights. Pick a date range, then Email Report. That's the path on Poshmark's help page "How to download a record of my sales", checked Oct 14, 2026.

What format is the Poshmark sales report?

A CSV file. Poshmark emails a link to the address on your account, and you have to be logged in to Poshmark to open it. Poshmark suggests opening it in a program that supports CSV files, such as a spreadsheet.

Does the Poshmark sales report show Poshmark fees?

Poshmark's description of the report doesn't list a separate fee column. It lists Order Price and Net Earnings, plus Seller Shipping Discount and Texas Seller Fee Tax. Order Price minus Net Earnings is everything taken off before the money reached your earnings, which includes Poshmark's fee ($2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% from $15 up).

Will Poshmark send me a 1099-K?

For the 2025 tax year, Poshmark's help page says it is required to provide a 1099-K to any seller with "$20,000 or more in gross sales and 200 transactions" on Poshmark in the calendar year, and to sellers who meet their state's threshold, which it lists as lower in Arkansas, New Jersey, Illinois, DC, Massachusetts, Maryland, Mississippi, Virginia and Vermont. The IRS adds that a marketplace may send you a Form 1099-K with lower amounts and/or transactions.

Where do I download my Poshmark 1099-K?

On the web or mobile web only: your profile picture > Account Settings > Tax Documents. Poshmark mails the form unless you turn on electronic delivery under Manage Taxpayer Information (Account Settings on the web, or Seller Tools > Taxes in the app).

I didn't get a 1099-K from Poshmark. Do my sales still count?

Poshmark recommends downloading your Sales Report and talking to a professional tax advisor. The IRS says: "Whether or not you receive a Form 1099-K, you must still report any income on your tax return." How that applies to your own sales is a question for a tax professional.
